02What we use today
Strictly necessary storage is always on. It is kept in your own browser and isn’t sent to us or to anyone else.
| Name | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| brx-cookie-consent | Remembers your cookie choices so we don’t ask again on every page. | Until you clear it or we update this policy |
| brx-locale | Remembers the language you chose for the site. | Until you clear it |
| brixlite-store-v1 | Keeps your build request, order tracking and live demo changes working in this browser. | Until you clear it |
Analytics cookies are set only if you allow them. We use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages are useful and how people find us. It doesn’t receive your name, email or the details of a build request, and we don’t use it for advertising.
| Name | Provider and purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics: tells visits from the same browser apart. | 13 months |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics: keeps track of the current visit. | 13 months |
If you turn analytics off, Google Analytics stops at once and we delete these cookies. We don’t use any advertising or social media cookies. Our fonts and images are served from our own website. Read how Google uses this data in Google’s privacy information.
03Cookie categories
Our cookie settings group cookies into four categories:
- Strictly necessary: needed for the site to work. Always on.
- Functional: optional features such as live chat or embedded maps.
- Analytics: anonymous statistics about how the site is used.
- Marketing: measuring campaigns and showing relevant content on other sites.
If we start using a functional, analytics or marketing tool, we’ll list it here first and only load it if you’ve allowed that category.
04Changing your choices
You can accept, reject or customise optional cookies at any time:
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary storage, parts of the site, such as build requests and the live demos, won’t work properly.
